This visa type allows for multiple entries into Indonesia during its validity period of one year. The D2 multiple-entry visa is valid for 60 days. The Visa holder can extend two (2) times, each extension lasts for 60 days.
A 180 days is the maximum stay – with 2 extensions, the visa holder must exit the country and re-enter with the same Visa application.
With D2 visa, you can:
- First, carry out activities related to business, meetings, or shopping, including but not limited to inspecting goods at offices, factories, or production sites.
- Additionally, you are allowed to discuss, negotiate, and/or sign business contracts.
- Moreover, you can engage in tourism activities, as well as visit friends or family.
You must:
- First and foremost, comply with all Indonesian laws and regulations.
- In addition, respect local customs, culture, and traditions.
- Furthermore, ensure you have sufficient living expenses to support yourself during your stay in Indonesia.
Other important information:
- Please note, overstaying your permitted period, engaging in prohibited activities, violating visa conditions, or failing to comply with Indonesian laws may result in fines, deportation, and/or other legal consequences.
- You are strictly prohibited from selling goods or services.
- Additionally, you must not continuously supervise the production activities of producers or sellers.
- Lastly, you are not allowed to receive rewards, wages, or any similar payments from individuals or corporations in Indonesia.
Document Requirements:
- First, you must provide a passport valid for at least 6 (six) months.
- Second, submit proof of living expenses amounting to at least US$ 2,000 (two thousand United States Dollars) or its equivalent.
- Third, include a recent color photograph.
- You must also provide one of the following documents:
- Information, invitations, or correspondence from government agencies or private institutions explaining your relationship with the applicant. Or
- A statement letter from your spouse or parents detailing your family relationship and the activities you plan to carry out in Indonesia, along with a family card or similar document.
- Furthermore, include a Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Finally, provide a travel itinerary.
